CIENCE Ranks High on Inc. 5000 List for Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the U.S.

The premier business magazine for growing businesses, Inc. announced its annual Inc. 5000 list, a prestigious ranking that placed CIENCE at No. 588 of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. The third year in a row to make the list, CIENCE was recognized for its outstanding three-year revenue growth of 817 percent.

CIENCE’s high ranking earned the company a top spot on the Inc. 5000 list, representing the best companies in a given industry. The 2021 Inc. 5000 provides a comprehensive look at the most successful small businesses in the U.S. that showed remarkable growth between 2017 and 2020, ranked according to their percentage revenue growth.

To qualify, businesses had to generate a minimum of $100,000 in 2017 and a minimum of $2 million in 2020. In addition, the company must have been founded and generating revenue by the end of March 2017. Companies up for consideration were U.S- based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies as of December 31, 2010. 

This award marks the third consecutive year that CIENCE has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list:  

• In 2019, we debuted at No. 112 in the rankings, with a 3,000+% growth rate between 2015 and 2018. 
• In 2020, CIENCE was recognized at No. 793, with a 604% growth rate between 2016 and 2019.
• In 2021, we jumped up the list again to No. 588, with an outstanding growth rate of 817% between 2017 and 2020.
• Since 2015, the company has grown by more than 12,000%.
