CIENCE Wins 2021 Best CEOs for Women: Comparably Award

Comparably, a leading workplace culture and compensation monitoring website, announced its winners of the 2021 Best CEOs for Women in July. CIENCE’s CEO John Girard proudly stands among the fifty top-ranked CEOs of large companies in the U.S., with an outstanding 95%+ approval rating.

Comparably aims to provide more rewarding and transparent workplaces. Any employee can easily access compensation data, rate their company, leadership, and overall work experience. This data is also shown through the prism of various demographics: gender, age, ethnicity, tenure, industry, location, education, and company size.

The platform has become one of the fastest-growing SaaS solutions for employer branding and a trusted third-party site for workplace and salary data, most notably for its annual Best Places to Work series.

Companies are divided by size: small/mid-size and large. To become a participant, a large company (over 500 employees) has to have a minimum of 75 employee participants.

Comparably’s 2021 Best CEOs for Women was based on anonymous sentiment ratings from female employees about their CEO during a 12-month period. Based on 10 million ratings across 60,000 companies, these included feedback from women on the effectiveness and management style of the CEO. Every CEO on the list is in the top 5% of all CEOs rated by female employees.
