Our services include: CNC Turning Services CNC Milling Services Screw Machining Services Wire EDM Services Secondary Machining Services Finishing Services Our company was founded by Merton (Rocky) Rockney, a Machine Operators Mate (MOMM3) Seabee in the Navy during World War II. Returning home from the war in 1946, Rocky used his aptitude for repairing, rebuilding, and welding broken parts and equipment to start SPM with only two Cleveland single spindle screw machines and two ACME four spindle screw machines. From the beginning, Rocky and his team maintained a total commitment to quality machining and personalized service and support, treating each customer with respect and attentive care regardless of company size or order. Seventy-five years later, this demonstrated core philosophy has helped us grow beyond these early years to a fully equipped, modern machining facility with more than thirty single and multi-spindle screw machines and numerous CNC turning, milling, and secondary machines. We are proud of our history and the team we've built over the years, a team with more than 200 years of combined manufacturing experience.
