Answer: We are a non-profit agency that hosts the following programs for Rutland County, Vermont: Diversion, Driving with License Suspended (DLS), Youth Substance Abuse & Safety Program (YSASP), Balanced & Restorative Justice (BARJ), and Pretrial Services (Screenings, Monitoring, and Tamarack). We also have a dedicated Victim Liaison to work with harmed parties and offer a school-based restorative justice program. One of our primary goals is to reduce the likelihood of our participants' future involvement in our legal system. In all of our programs, we support our participants through case management and the identification of tasks that address their underlying risk factors. We also ensure that harmed parties and our community have a voice throughout the restorative process. Each participants' experience is highly individualized.
