Unique Chocolates Made in a Unique Community! Renee's Chocolates is a fun company founded in January 2018 by software executives with a passion for creating jobs in a rural Wisconsin town. We wanted to create a chocolate company offering products worldwide that were unique, tasted delicious, and not be boring! Renee is one of the founders and our namesake. For decades she has traveled the world experiencing gourmet chocolate and dessert confections. She bought those flavors and tastes back to our Team to give us inspiration for unique products. Our first unique product category was the Alcohol ZingedTM Chocolates. Challenge was...aside from Shealee...none of us had prior commercial food production expertise. While working our software jobs during the day, we spent our evenings & weekends learning about chocolates, experimenting in a rented commercial kitchen, and perfecting the first group of eight Alcohol ZingedTM fudges. Then we would sell the product on Saturdays at local festivals and events seeking market feedback. When people started calling or stopping by our software offices to buy chocolate products during the week we knew that we were on the right path. So we got really busy! We built a commercial production facility. We started selling online in the spring of 2019 and opened our factory store in May 2019 while hiring our first chocolates elves to hand make our creations. Thus reaching the rewarding goal of hiring local people with drive & talent and giving them the opportunity to grow professionally. We strive every day to create unique chocolate creations that are affordable to the general public and not be boring. We continue searching the world.
