Traditional books are available as well as CD format, preloaded playaway mp3 players and in downloadable formats compatible with iPods and other mobile devices. Items can be delivered right to your home - free of charge - using MAYL (Materials Access from Your Library). Patrons may also check out new and classic DVDs, music CDs, and even stream music and movies for free via hoopla. We also offer Zinio for Libraries which provides free access to more than 250 popular e-magazine titles all from the comfort of your home or local Internet cafe. Multiple online databases, RSS feeds, streaming video and Wi-Fi access are also available. Numerous technology classes are offered at all 16 locations along with author signings, special events and programs throughout the year. The Library is involved in several programs and partnerships to foster early reading success among elementary students and the Orlando Public Library features "Club Central," a hip area specifically for tweens and teens (ages 11-18).
