Answer: In 2005, my intention was to cater solely to the interior design market. After working as an interior designer I found that most rug companies offered large inventories of dated-looking designs & minimal customer service. Our goal is to offer an array of beautiful designs, with new designs introduced every few months. We provide unparalleled personal service. Our sales people are all trained in interior design, & understand first-hand the pressure & time constraints designers face. Our job is to make your lives easier - from same-day service for quotations & renderings, to free catalogues & samples, to creating custom rug designs for your projects. We pride ourselves on our flexibility in composition, design & price. We offer thousands of color choices, in materials such as wool, silk, hemp, linen, bamboo, allo, tencel, nylon, & more. Continual development of new fibers & techniques is very important to us, as are the relationships with our factories. We visit each factory once a year, & work closely with the owners & their staff. Each factory must not only meet acceptable standards for every aspect of its working conditions, but it must also be in alliance with GoodWeave to ensure that there is no child labor used in manufacturing. By developing these relationships, we are able to deliver superior service & excellent lead times. In return, we keep the ancient traditions of rug-making alive while keeping people employed & helping countries in great need. - Beth Arrowood CEO & Creative Director
