Answer: The Law Resources Center (LRC) partners with various community programs in an effort to increase access to legal services and resources for community members as well as support the work of legal professionals in our community. The Johnson County ADR Project is located within the LRC. The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Project is a program of the Johnson County Courts that provides low cost alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation, facilitation, arbitration, and parenting coordination, to litigants in Johnson County. The LRC is a video replay host site for ICLEF Continuing Education Services and works with Johnson County Bar Association to promote continuing education training classes for Legal and ADR professionals. In addition to acting as an ICLEF video replay site, The LRC offers various other classes highlighted on the Educational Offerings page. The LRC also partners with the District 11 Legal Aid and the Johnson County Bar Association to offer a monthly Legal Aid Clinic on the second Wednesday each month from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
