Answer: Holocene was established in 2008 and is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina (Mid-Atlantic USA). The company is deeply experienced in de-regulated RTO markets like PJM as well as regulated markets in the Southeast. Holocene has completed solar PV projects in North Carolina, Virginia, and New Jersey, including Qualified Facility (QF) projects in North Carolina and a PJM wholesale market participant project. Holocene most recently completed a portfolio of behind-the-meter projects designed and executed for two distribution cooperatives in Virginia. Our projects deliver bottom-line value to local distribution companies and benefits to the communities hosting our generation facilities. Our scalable solar distributed generation project portfolios increase grid reliability and improve efficiency of power delivery. Holocene is currently using our deep experience with distributed generation to deliver a solution based on non-retail behind-the-meter generation (NRBTMG) rules and interconnected with LDCs, including electric cooperatives and municipalities in throughout the PJM territory. Going forward, Holocene is expanding this strategy into several other PJM markets, with the objective of continuing to take advantage of the opportunity presented in the PJM market and beyond. Holocenes expansion will create an additional 200 mw portfolio for the next business planning cycle.
