Answer: Digital Shepherds is a non-profit organization whose focus is instructing and educating parents, at PTA meetings, in churches, townhalls, corporate boardrooms and through webinar/distance learning and direct dvd sales, on how to techno-proof their homes when their children are young and ultimately help cultivate trust and digital literacy in the household as the young ones mature and the digital lifestyle becomes more a part of their lives. In other words, were bringing the knowledge and information right to you. Right where you are! Why are we doing this? Because many of todays parents feel they lack the control, or the sense of control, that parents of previous generations had over who and what their young children interacted with. With technology moving at an increasingly rapid pace, parents feel unable to keep up with their kids and so there is a disconnect between many parents and their childrens digital lives with a great many parents only having a very general idea of what their children are doing online and on their mobile phones. Digital Shepherds fills the void and gives parents simple steps and instructional videos which will help them: 1.
