Answer: We are a boutique law firm focused on residential and small commercial real estate matters. Our largest client is Windermere Real Estate brokers across Washington and Oregon, but we represent just about every conceivable party in every aspect of real estate except for transactions. We represent buyers, sellers and brokers in disputes and lawsuits over transactions, neighbors in boundary and adverse possession disputes, builders and clients in contract and construction defect lawsuits, and sellers with short sales and loan workouts. We recently began representing sellers in short sales. Unlike most short sale negotiators, we represent the seller as their attorney. It's a lot more work, but we think that sellers in that situation need actual legal representation. We also recently began offering mediation and arbitration services, limited to real estate disputes. Our goal is to provide a cost effective method to resolve the many smaller claims that arise in connection with real estate transaction such as a earnest money claims and boundary disputes.
