Our philosophy is that all rooms should tell a story about the people who live in them; they should be functional and livable, as well as beautiful and interesting. In interior spaces, we feel less is more, allowing beautiful materials to shine without unnecessary adornment. We do not like excessive ornamentation or decoration for decorations sake, and believe strongly that people should buy only what they love. Our design style, which is influenced by world travel, tends towards a warmer version of modernism, with a clean-lined global perspective. It is luxuriously simple, uncluttered and sophisticated, with strong silhouettes. We like to create depth and interest by mixing contrasting textures and shapes, like a crisp cotton canvas alongside a sumptuous silk or cashmere, or a sleek table with an ornate chair. We provide our clients with more than just attractive, inviting spaces. For us, design is about creating a lifestyle. Dale Blumberg is a native of South Africa. She completed a BA at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg before emigrating with her family to the United States. After realizing her passion for interior spaces, she attended the New York School of Interior Design and established Dale Blumberg Interiors in 2005. Jessica Blumberg graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business in 2009. After working in Media/Advertising in Manhattan for 5 years, she decided to follow her own passion for making interior spaces beautiful and attended the New York School of Interior Design. Jess joined Dale Blumberg Interiors in 2015.
