Central to the companys vision is the mix of collections it features from the world's top contemporary jewelry designers. In addition to its online store, the company operates a store in Dallas in the Plaza at Preston Center. THE NEXT NOW Founders Joanne and Charles Teichman were the first in the US to offer designer jewelry in the mid-1980s and the first designer jewelry company to go online in 2000. They have created a culture of unmatched customer service and a tight-knit group of employees, some of whom have been with the company more than a decade. In addition, Joanne and Charles have continued to seek new designers, supporting their development and growth, while cultivating long-standing relationships with existing designers over time. In 2016, Joanne and Charles daughter Alysa Teichman joined Ylang 23. Alysa has grown Ylang 23s footprint while breathing new life into the company as management for the next generation. Alysa founded THENEXTNOW, a competition for emerging jewelry designers and a tool to discover and cultivate the next generation of jewelry designers. WHY 23? Owners Joanne and Charles met on March 23rd, were engaged on April 23rd and married on November 23rd (all the same year!). Its the Teichman family's lucky number!
