We work in the interface between formal economic activity and communities, particularly in the developing world. Our clients include both large and small businesses, governments, national and international donors, and community and civil society groups. Countries in which we have worked include Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Turkey, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Uzbekistan, Peru, United States, Canada and Mongolia. The Principal of Yirri Global is Dr Chris Anderson, a social anthropologist who has worked as a senior executive and communities and social performance practitioner in the mining industry for 17 years, with Rio Tinto, Newmont Mining Corporation, and Normandy Mining.
