Answer: Worker Justice Wisconsin, Inc., was established in 2018 through a merger of the Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice of South Central Wisconsin and the Workers Rights Center. We are a coalition of individuals, religious congregations, interfaith bodies, labor unions, and community organizations concerned about economic and worker justice. We believe that worker justice is necessary for a just economy. We build collective worker power through training, labor rights education, collective action and community engagement with an emphasis on interfaith involvement. We seek to mobilize the religious and labor communities of South Central Wisconsin on worker rights issues, to actively build relationships between faith and labor groups, and to support the rights of workers to organize and engage in collective bargaining. We operate a Workers Rights Center at our offices to assist workers in claiming their right to a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and wage theft.
