Answer: Women Solidarity for Peace and Leadership (WSPL), a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco, Ca, was established on September 1, 2021 in Afghanistan by Afghan women youths, mostly living abroad. The WSPL idea was formed 14 years ago when two Afghan sisters in middle school dreamt of a bigger vision to reduce and omit discrimination, inequality, and violence against girls and women in their home country of Afghanistan, and create a place where women can fly high without any fall risk, and no one can clip their wings. WSPL aims to advocate and amplify women's voices by uniting influential figures worldwide and developing programs that empower women and girls to reach their full potential.
