Answer: WINDRESTRICTOR is owned by King Penn Industries Inc. of Dallas Texas. The brand and products were created by Robert King Pennington in 2006 when he wanted to reduce wind turbulence inside his convertible while driving with the top down. He was not happy at all with the options available to him on the market at the time. In a short amount of time he had designed, developed, tested and brought to market one fascinating product that would later take the market by storm. WINDRESTRICTOR is a registered trademark in over 40 countries. In 2007 Robert passed away at 27 years old and his loving family took on the responsibility of carrying out his dreams of being a successful business owner that valued his customers above all else. KPI has 16 employees at their new facility they acquired in 2015 and works with several other contract professionals. Attention to detail, brilliant engineering and excellent customer service is what sets KPI apart from the other convertible wind blocker providers. Stop by their location in Dallas to see some of the innovative products that they produce and meet the staff. In 2015 KPI got the opportunity to add Martin Woodall to their Advisory Board. Woodall offers over three decades of business leadership having partnered with some of the best around including Mark Cuban. In March KPI brought on David Hume as VP Of Sales to build a national sales force to set up automotive dealership accounts accross America. King Penn Industries has three divisions of product lines: 1. WindRestrictor brand wind deflectors 2. Illuminated Door Sills 3. Edge Lit Art
