Using the nationally-recognized, evidence-based primary care delivery model for youthendorsed by the American Academy of PediatricsWHAT operates three school-based health centers (SBHCs) in New Hanover County high schools in addition to its main facility. At each center, WHAT provides integrated or whole-person care, addressing each young patients unique physical, emotional/behavioral and nutritional health needs.
