Answer: Not for profit, faith-based, non-denominational ministry with a Resale Shop that funds our Family Service Center. Following Jesus Christ as our source of inspiration and guidance, we aim to eliminate domestic violence in Piatt County by providing education and prevention training to the community, raising awareness of this cause, and providing assistance and comfort to families affected by domestic violence through counseling (crisis and spiritual), mentoring, healing-focused groups, legal advocacy, emergency shelter services and other services as needed. We also strive to build stronger families within our community through a variety of means, including: giving generously to other service organizations, being an example of how to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community, building strength and healing within our own selves and families, employing the seemingly unemployable, and readily jumping at any opportunity God puts before us to help meet a need.
