Our mission is to protect open spaces, maintaining Utahs natural heritage and quality of life for present and future generations. We achieve this through working in partnership with private landowners, government agencies and communities in voluntary preservation of values of land; agricultural, scenic, recreational, historic and wildlife. We strive to permanently protect these places by acquiring title or conservation easements. Utah Open Lands was founded in 1990, starting in Summit County, and expanded to be a statewide land trust in 1995. With your help, we have preserved over 60,000 acres to date.
