Nowadays it is illegal to dispose of electronic devises (computers, monitors, televisions and other electronic devices) in the regular garbage or recycling containers. Electronic waste, or e-waste, includes electronic devices in working or non-working condition that are no longer used. E-waste is known to contain heavy metals such as mercury and lead, which if placed in the landfill, can harm people and the environment. Besides on-site hard drive destruction services, Update Green also help its clients with collecting electronic waste either working or non-working, broken or functioning, complete or incomplete, old or new. Update Green also provides Hard Drive Destruction services, The destruction process is safe, fast, and secure. We will destroy your drives quickly and efficiently so you can get on with your business day. Once the drives are destroyed we will provide you with a Certificate of Assured Destruction. Hard Drive Destruction either on-site and at client`s facility or at our warehouse only costs $5 per hard drive. There may be a minimum quantity of hard drives required.
