In addition to being one of the largest conventional pressure vessel head suppliers in the Western Hemisphere, UCC has the capability to form, fit and weld segmental heads nearly limitless in diameter. This includes forming and shop fabrication of field erected sphere and accessory components. Our facility is strategically located in Houston, Texas with three rail spurs and nearby access to the port. ASME Hot and cold formed heads: - 2:1 elliptical - Hemispherical - Dished only - Toriconical - Flanged & flued - Flanged & dished - Flared & dished Seven hot forming presses: - 350 to 2,500 ton - form up to 12" thick Ten cold forming machines: - capacity up to 360" Five plate rolls: - roll cones and cylinders - max length of 144" - up to 12" thick Sixteen furnaces: - multiple car bottom furnaces up to 14' x 14' x 42' - 257" round furnace Two tanks with capacity to water quench: - up to 200" OD heads - up to 102" OD x 192" long cylinders
