Answer: Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster home based animal rescue organization. We primarily rescue animals from high-kill impounds, but we also rescue animals from puppy mills, situations of abuse and neglect, and from owners who are no longer able to keep them. TCPR often rescues animals that are overlooked and left behind by others, even other rescue organizations. These animals are often deemed "less adoptable" and sometimes "unadoptable" by other organizations due to the fact that they might be sick, older, or have special needs. TCPR does not have a facility. All animals stay in foster homes until they are adopted. Animals that are rescued by TCPR receive veterinary care prior to being adopted; including but not limited to, spay/neuter, vaccinations, hw or fiv/felv tests, microchips.
