Answer: Our vision for Tweetalicious Inc. was to create products that connect consumers, brands and influencers. Our philosophy is simple: Relevance matters. We obsess over ways to let people consume content they want to see. The idea for the company and our first product, Tweetalicious, came from the overwhelming amount of content on Twitter and the lack of tools to help find whats useful. Getting to that relevant stuff is just as important as using it though. The best and most loved things in life are those we accidentally discover as we travel through the day. We believe that if you combine that sense of exploration and discovery with a healthy dose of serendipity, the end result is not only more useful, but also entertaining. In late July 2012, we completed the MVP of Mosaic, a social scrapbook that pulled together fashion, brand, celebrity and lifestyle media content from Twitter. Mosaic offered relevance and discovery by making Twitter more visual, meaningful and engaging. A shift in Twitters API policy combined with our limited human and cash resources precluded us from keeping pace and pivoting to make Mosaic a viable and fundable product. We shut down the company and stopped product development on Mosaic in October 2012, but kept the product alive through the end of the year.
