The original entity formed by owners, Bill Tresten and Monte Sneed, was a full-line nonferrous distribution company in Houston, Texas. The distribution company grew from several acquisitions in the Dallas, Chicago and Minneapolis areas. The distribution company operated under the trade name TSAlloys Inc. TSAlloys was sold in 1990 to British Steel with a plan to expand further into the North American market. In 1997, Tresten Sneed & Associates started TSA Processing in Houston concentrating on toll processing of nonferrous products. In 2010, TSA acquired Main Steel in Arlington, Texas and has opened a plant in Chicago, Illinois, Richmond, Indiana and Atlanta, Georgia since then. Each location has specific capabilities unique to it's location. We are a toll processor.
