Answer: The mission of the Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council (TCHSC) is to prevent and end homelessness on the Treasure Coast and to assure that if homelessness happens, it is brief and non-recurring. TCHSC is the lead agency for the Continuum of Care on the Treasure Coast of Florida collaborating with 63 service providers across the served tri-county region of Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties. The CoC is designed by HUD to promote a community-wide commitment to end homelessness while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to individuals, families, and communities affected by homelessness.
