Answer: Since 1971, Tran-Tec has created custom-designed heat sinks, cold plates and semiconductor coolers for the electronics industry. We partner with customers to prototype and produce small to mid-sized design runs larger companies won't touch. You'll get responsive service, sound advice, unmatched quality, quick turnaround and a very competitive price. From custom-created products to our large inventory of extrusions, Tran-Tec will do what it takes to help your hot ideas become cool business builders.Tran-Tec owns 75+ extrusion dies and we always have a large inventory of various extrusion profiles in-stock. Our engineers can help you select a profile from our existing selection based on your size restrictions and heat dissipation needs or work with you to develop a new profile specific to your needs. Once a profile has been selected we can assist with design and drafting to machine the part to your specifications. Tran-Tec also provides bonded fin heat sinks assembled from plate aluminum and sheet-stock where an extrusion is not possible. This allows for more delicate profiles with larger surface area and improved heat dissipation from a smaller footprint.
