Our Mission The mission of Three Squares New England (TSNE) is to raise awareness and funds for hunger-relief organizations to address food insecurity and food waste. Over nine years, we have raised $3.4 Million to reduce food insecurity. Our Goals 1) Provide a fundraising platform through our annual Ride For Food and Off The Beaten Path events so that our hunger-relief partners can focus more efficiently on their core competencies. 2) Create an alliance of local organizations to explore new approaches to the food security supply chain. 3) Foster a co-operative culture of sharing know-how in fighting hunger. 4) Raise awareness of the problem of hunger and food insecurity and the solutions our partners provide in the Greater Boston area and beyond. Our History In 2012, a group of volunteers formed Three Squares NE (TSNE) with the goal to help raise funds for local non-profit organizations combating hunger across New England. Recognizing that hunger is an issue throughout our surrounding community and that community-based non-profits have limited resources to undertake large fundraisers, a group of cyclists and residents of Dedham organized its first Ride For Food. Held annually in September/October, the event raises funds and awareness to combat hunger in our local communities. Our Partners include food pantries, kitchens, community farms and food rescue agencies. Since inception, TSNE has raised over $3.4M and returned 100% to its affiliated partners.
