Answer: Thinking about Tomorrow is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to impacting the everyday lives of at-risk youths by establishing within them a solid foundation of values. With programs intentionally centered around the ideals of Living, Learning, and Loving, we aspire to promote leadership and citizenry in an effort to improve each individuals overall success as well as the success of the community as a whole. What We Do We believe that learning never ends and is an important part of growth! Thats why we've developed our "School is Cool" initiative. The "School is Cool" initiative is designed to help our community receive all they need to create a base of knowledge, a love of education, and adopt the tools needed to thrive in and out of the classroom! We make attendance at school a priority and promote academic excellence to all students. This is achieved by increasing the level of education through participation in classroom activities. By motivating and teaching students to value the importance of education, we aim to increase their overall interest while helping to bridge the gap between the educational inequities that currently exist. * Our Back to School Supply Drive - provides positive support and backpacks loaded with required supplies to at-risk students. By supplying these necessities, students have what they need to succeed. * Our Were all Here attendance improvement program - challenges kids to be at school everyday, rewards for improvements in attendance and helps them learn to accept responsibility. * Our "Kids on Campus" program - shows students that college is more than just a dream by introducing them to local universities and proves that if you can believe it, you can achieve it.
