Answer: At The X-Project School of Fitness, Home of East Frederick CrossFit, we take customization way beyond the "scaling" of traditional CrossFit gyms. You are a unique human being – the only model like you ever made – and we’ll make sure you get training that’s just as distinctive as you are. Our culture here is summed up in one word – learning. At the start of every class, we go over the purpose, content and objectives for the class, what the workout should feel like, and do a segment called "Every MetCon is a life lesson," where we relate the workout and objectives in the gym to a real-life scenario outside our walls. We build more than muscles here. We build mental and emotional strength, as well. We rarely write WOD results on the whiteboards, but the entire gym erupts for when someone hits a PR or does something they’re proud of. Team-based workouts (we do two a week) are a favorite around here. Working out with friends – does it get any better than that? We don’t think so.
