Answer: With every hurricane, there is inevitably a large population of people trapped by deadly conditions and are faced with the reality that rescue, help, and support may be days or even weeks away. The Projects primary objective is to solve this issue by arriving in the predicted disaster area ahead of hurricane conditions, to be as close as possible to those in need to affect a rescue. Our secondary objective is to bring a mission back to our veterans. Most veterans have unique skills that aren't taught or practices outside of the military. Most of the time veterans have to shelf these skills and develop skills that are more adaptive to the civilian world. As you know many veterans are left feeling like they are a soldier without a mission. Many of our vets fall into a state of depression and 1 veteran suicide is too much let alone 22 a day. We give our veterans an opportunity to pull those skills back off the shelf and use them not in a combat roll but in a life-saving role. While we are rescuing civilians in harms way, we are also giving veterans the mission they turn for and a new outlook on life after the military.
