Every teacher needs to cultivate leadership in all students. To accomplish this, we need to prioritize and support teacher professional development with a disciplined pedagogy. To that end, the gcLi has developed the Pedagogy of Leadership, combining brain science, leadership studies, cultural competency and developmental psychology. We believe: - There is an urgent need to prepare young people to become capable citizens and agents of change in the world. - We believe teachers are the best people to prepare students for this work. To do this work, teachers need tools, resources and professional networks.
