Answer: The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon (FCCO) is a nonprofit spay/neuter program for cats. Our mission is to improve the welfare and reduce the population of feral cats through spay/neuter services and education. Spay/Neuter improves a cat's overall health, curbs mating behaviors like spraying and fighting; and prevents litters of homeless kittens. Since our founding in 1995, FCCO has spayed/neutered and vaccinated more more than 125,000 cats in Oregon and SW Washington. We are supported through community donations and the efforts of volunteers. FCCO's donation-based services are targeted for feral or stray cats who have caregivers feeding them. The caregivers trap the cats, bring them to a clinic, and return the cats to where they are being fed.
