Answer: We recognize that people are dying. People of color and people living at and below the poverty line are dying at nearly doubling rates from different cancers. This is a multi-factorial issue, and we believe that knowledge is power! Our mission is to promote health equity in cancer care so that EVERY patient can live their life to the fullest. We plan to do this through science, advocacy, and education in partnership with advocacy organizations already on the move and through clinic-based training designed to SEEK out color, and finally, by designing better clinical trials that have underrepresented communities in mind. **HOW Through evidence-based, clinical education and advocacy, we will uncover and promote solutions that provide equal and equitable access to clinical research and care for patients in underrepresented communities living with and after a cancer diagnosis.
