Answer: In August 2013, Texas A&M University acquired Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, forming Texas A&M University School of Law. The Texas A&M Law Review builds upon the proud tradition established by the Texas Wesleyan Law Review, which published its first issue in the spring of 1994. In the fall of 2013, the Texas A&M Law Review will send its first publications to print. Every year, the Law Review publishes several issues. Texas A&M Law Reviewa student run, faculty-supervised publicationpublishes materials written by student members of the Law Review, outside contributors, and strives to encourage legal scholarship on issues of interest to academicians, practitioners, and law students. To do this, the Texas A&M Law Review selects, edits, and publishes quality scholarship and hosts symposia on cutting-edge legal topics and significant developments. Participation on the Texas A&M Law Review is limited to those who meet specific academic requirements and those who are selected through a writing competition.
