Answer: Taste of Belgium is an independently owned, Cincinnati original restaurant group. Our goal is to offer creative Belgian food, the best curated beer list, and an environment where are team members can flourish. Our scratch kitchen celebrates traditional recipes while offering a fresh creative perspective as evident in menu items like our famous Liege Waffle and Chicken and The Bel-tucky Hot Brown. TOB story: In 2007, Jean-Francois Flechet brought back a 120lbs cast iron waffle maker from his native Belgium. He began baking the waffles he grew up with at the back of a produce store at Findlay Market. After a few weeks, the store was congested with waffle-eating-people and Jean-Francois was told he needed to find a new home. The little waffle place grew, one waffle at a time to become a new Cincinnati Columbus favorite. Taste of Belgium has grown from one person and a waffle iron to 4 bistros, 2 market stands, a booth at the new UC Bearcats 5/3 Arena, and we are poised for more. #respectthewaffle!
