Our mission is "to lead and support education and preservation efforts in our region to achieve a heightened awareness, understanding, and caring for our natural environment." We strive to fulfill our mission every day by: maintaining over ten miles of trails, offering educational programming for children and adults, providing homes in our exhibits for more than 40 native and exotic animals, and welcoming over 35,000 visitors a year. We also work with various school groups throughout the Southern Tier and annually teach 30,000 kids about the natural world. We are continuously grateful for our members, volunteers, visitors and donors like you! Your donation greatly aids our efforts to reach the community and provide a healthy and happy life for our animal ambassadors.
