Answer: Synnott Mountain Guides is a year-round mountain climbing guide service operating out of New Hampshire's Mount Washington Valley. We are your Mt. Washington experts, offering year-round guided ascents. In the winter, we run mountaineering courses, ice climbing programs, Mt. Washington Observatory Overnights, Presidential Range Traverses, backcountry skiing adventures, AIARE 1 avalanche courses, glacier travel/crevasse rescue courses, and all levels of private winter climbing instruction, seven days a week. In the warmer seasons, we offer all levels of rock climbing instruction on cliffs throughout New Hampshire and Maine. Popular destinations include Cathedral and Whitehorse Ledges in North Conway, Huntington Ravine on Mt. Washington, the sea-cliffs and granite crags of Acadia National Park, and the alpine routes on Katahdin. We also offer guided Mt. Washington climbs, self-rescue and learn-to-lead programs, industrial rigging and rescue courses, and American Mountain Guides Association Single Pitch Instructor courses and assessments.
