Answer: Survive the Madness provides comprehensive active shooter survival training and top-notch Stop the Bleed survival kits for corporate, civic and individual needs. Education and preparedness is everything. Survive The Madness provides both. Because there are things we can do that we’re not doing, things we should have that we don’t know we need, and conversations we should be having that we’re not engaging in. To increase your chances of survival in the event of an active shooter incident, you’ll want to know life-saving procedures. You’ll be surprised at how much power you DO have. As the founder and CEO of Survive the Madness, I’m no stranger to educating the public. I’ve spent years deeply involved in emergency preparedness, offering hands on training and resources to the public and private sectors. Having been one of the first on the scene to provide earthquake preparedness training seminars and survival kits in the mid 1980’s, I was proud to be the recipient of a Certificate of Commendation by the City of Los Angeles for my boundless work in educating the public on what to do and when to do it when the Big One hit. Aside from years of earthquake preparedness, I’ve enjoyed self-employment almost all my life. I was a radio host, a television producer, owned a property management company and have enjoyed a long and successful run as a writer/author and marketing maven. We now live with the harsh reality that active shooters are a part of our daily landscape. No matter where we are or what we’re doing, we are vulnerable. There is no greater passion, no cause more important, than protecting our own from harm. There is a lot to learn about enduring assault, earthquakes or active shooter incidents, but what needs to be remembered is that there is also a lot we can do to survive them all. It’s time to get smarter at how to survive the madness. This is personal. This is life and death. So, let’s roll our sleeves up and get busy. We’ve got work to do.
