Answer: The Super One Series is Britains premier karting championship, attracting over three hundred top drivers per annum, and run by karters for karters. It has a long star-studded history, with alumni such as Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Anthony Davidson, the late Daniel Wheldon, Dario Franchitti, David Coulthard, Jason Plato and Paul Di Resta to mention just a few who have become household names in motor-sport. This all gives the series very strong links with top line motorsport, and for instance Sahara Force India have chosen to place their One in a Billion graduates with the series. The Series has been awarded the rights to promote all the MSA British Kart short circuit championships until the end of 2017 to combine with all principle national championships until the same date. The series commenced in 1983, and as it grew it split into separate series for juniors and seniors, then it formed into separate series for the MSA and TKM classes and the Rotax classes.
