Answer: Owners Jack Golatke and Tom Mainville started Story Hill Renovations LLC in 2004. Our passion for older homes is reflected in each project we do. As lifelong Milwaukee residents, we take pride in the city and the abundance of architectural uniqueness that each home has to offer. Both of our owners are both Certified Remodelers through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). In 2012, Story Hill Renovations won two Wisconsin Remodeling Awards (WRA) for basement and kitchen remodeling. We were also involved in three episodes of the DIY Channel series Made in Milwaukee, which features local remodeling projects. Story Hill Renovations' recent successes are due to having some of the best carpenters in the industry. Our Lead Carpenters - Matt and Marcus - bring over 20 years combined remodeling experience. Their attention to detail and the ability to problem solve are second to none. Matt has worked in his uncles remodeling business for years, gaining incredible construction knowledge and tile work skills. Marcus has been involved in different aspects of the industry, including working with a firm that did a majority of the copper work at Milwaukees own Iron Horse Hotel. Tom and Jack are proud to be small business owners that provide the personal care and touch that each home remodeling project deserves. We take on each project as if it was our own home - and this is what sets Story Hill Renovations apart.
