Answer: A breeding, training, and racing operation through broodmare and yearling divisions in Kentucky, training center located in Ocala, Florida, and the East Coast based Stonestreet Stables. Stonestreet was founded in 2005 by Jess Stonestreet Jackson who's passion for horses began with watching Seabiscuit win the 1938 Bay Meadows Handicap. Many years later Jackson, by then a prosperous attorney and entrepreneur, achieved global acclaim as a winemaker, and the success of his Kendall-Jackson Wines afforded him the opportunity to indulge his passion for Thoroughbred racing at the highest level. After Jess's passing in 2011, Barbara Banke continued to build the legacy left by her husband. Under Barbara’s leadership, Stonestreet has increased the size of its racing stable eight-fold and established the Stonestreet Training and Rehabilitation Center near Ocala, Florida, which allows Stonestreet to apply the same principles to the early training of its racehorses as it does to raising its young horses in Kentucky.
