Founded in 1997 SPI Corp is an industry leading small business providing rapid solutions to faced paced customers demands. The ANIR-360 thermal pan tilt solution was developed and sold to the US Army for Chem Bio detection units. Next the M1 series multi sensor remote positioning system evolved to meet the needs of the US Army Rapid Equipping Force and Marine Expeditionary Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan for perimeter security and route clearance IED detection. SPI Hand Held Thermal Imagers became the standard component of the Joint Force IED defeat program. The SPI M1-D Mirco Pan Tilt Thermal Visual imaging platform was designed to be a low cost high performance PTZ system to bridge commercial and military customer needs. The M1-D has since become the UAV payload of choice from Multi Rotor systems to full blown fixed wing CUAV's like the Hunter.
