Special Mine Services manufactures a complete line of synthetic rubber single-pole, multi-pole, and quick-lock connectors that are specifically engineered and designed to be interchangeable and compatible with other major manufactured connectors. Our capabilities range from small single pole to large round multi-pole connectors, as well as connectors accepting 500 MCM, 3 conductor, GGC and SHD type cable. The mining connectors are CSA 22.2 No. 182 (182465) and UL 168 certified. Additionally, Special Mine Services is currently recertifying mining connectors for 1000V service, in accordance with CSA Std 298-16. Special Mine Services also offers a fully-functional welding and fabrication department, complete with a staff of engineers, welders, and technicians. Possessing some of the latest equipment from Flow, AccurPress, Aida and Lincoln. Special Mine Services combines the best of these new technologies with SolidWorks design software and a team dedicated to customer service. In addition to welding and fabrication services, Special Mine Services offers a fully-functional machine shop.
