Upgrades are at 1/4 the cost of what you would pay from G.E. or any other manufacturer. Full room upgrades are also available at 1/4 the cost to other manufactures. SMIC offers upgrades through a service agreement using the hospital's operating budget instead of the capital equipment budget.
