Outpatient treatment at Sierra at Scottsdale consists of two levels of care: a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). These programs serve adults who can benefit from step-down services after completing inpatient or residential treatment, though clients may also enter treatment directly at these levels. Each adult who participates in outpatient treatment at Sierra at Scottsdale receives a personalized treatment plan. At the PHP level, this may consist of medication management services, basic medical care and a variety of individual, group, family and experiential therapies. At the IOP level, clients take part in weekly individual therapy and daily group therapies. The therapeutic component of treatment at Sierra at Scottsdale Outpatient Care incorporates an array of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-focused CBT and internal family systems therapy.
