Answer: Formed as a 501(c)(3) public charity in 2015, Sharing Connexion began with a passionate desire to use real estate skills to provide solutions for nonprofits and affordable housing organizations. With founder and board president Ed Andersons extensive real estate investment background and a board of directors with a combined 230+ years in real estate experience, the organization came highly equipped with the expertise for how best to serve this charitable community. Our Mission: to provide affordable housing organizations and nonprofits with real estate expertise, funding, and preservation. Our Vision: Real estate philanthropy will empower nonprofits and expand affordable housing options. We have three programs. 1) Real Estate Donations: We come alongside nonprofits to make real estate donations less complicated. With our expertise, we maximize the value of the property, thus growing their assets. 2) Real Estate Impact: We use our fund to make key real estate impact loans into the buying, building and renovating of affordable housing projects and nonprofit program spaces. 3) Real Estate Rescue: We aim to preserve and protect affordable housing and nonprofit real estate assets from displacement through our short-term acquisition solution.
