This is a local company that supports local projects." Martin's family settled in the Ozarks in the mid to late 1800s. After the creation of the Lake of the Ozarks and during the area's metamorphosis into a popular vacation destination, her father, Bob Scott, worked as an excavator. He saw the need for a concrete business for the lake area. He and wife, Jo Ellen Scott, then established the first location.
