From quantum computing, space launch support and flight hardware, cryopumps, zero emission technology to Liquid Natural gas storage tanks, SI stands ready to provide the most reliable cryo measurement systems in the world. SI was founded in 1967 by Jack Hoey and Gilbert Halverson. Coming from aerospace and academic backgrounds, they identified a market need for cryogenic (4K) temperature measurement and developed one of the world's first Germanium Resistance Thermometers (GRT). These sensing devices were supplied to NASA and used in the Apollo Lunar Program. Today, SI products can be found around the globe in all sorts of cryogenic applications.
