Furthermore, SCCHA also develops, owns, and manages over 2,900 affordable housing units - with close to 1,000 units in our current development pipeline. A key partner in the communitys effort to end homelessness, SCCHA provides rental assistance for over 2,700 formerly unhoused individuals and families. As part of HUDs Move to Work, SCCHA programs and properties are targeted to assist low-income households while helping residents become self-sufficient. The vast majoritymore than 80%of our households are extremely low-income families, seniors, veterans, persons with disabilities, and the formerly unhoused. Working together with landlords, housing developers, non-profits, and local governments, we strive to provide quality affordable housing and supportive services to as many individuals and families throughout Santa Clara County.
